Delivery: What the courier will and wont do.

Our Couriers makes deliveries Monday to Friday, between 0900 and 1800 hrs. They do not make deliveries during the weekends. Once we have despatched your purchase, it will take around 3 to 4 days to reach you.

The courier service we use is basically an extended "kerb side" delivery. All our deliveries are made on vehicles with tail lift facilities, and they will unload the pallet, and get it as near as they can to the entrance to your building. They use a pallet truck, so as long as access is via a smooth level driveway, there will be no problems. If, however, you live at the end of a steep or gravelled drive, then the driver will not be able to negotiate it with his pallet truck.

Because of insurance restrictions, the drivers are not allowed to enter your building, so you will need to make arrangements for the item to be taken inside. This is particularly important if your property is not accessible from the road, or if it is not a ground floor property. Please bear in mind that heavier items such as washing machine can not be moved by one person. If you are not able to arrange this, please do not bid for the item, as we will not able to make any alternative arrangements for delivering.

Signing for the delivery.

For palletised deliveries via Pallet Ways, it is essential that the goods are checked on delivery, and any damage (not already referred to in the listing) is mentioned on the delivery note before signing for the goods. If this is not done the courier will reject any claims, and we will not be able to accept any claims or authorise any returns.

NO RELIANCE

Whilst we take steps to ensure the accuracy of the information accessed via this site, we cannot guarantee or give any warranty as to its accuracy, timeliness or completeness of any information or material appearing on it.

You acknowledge that your use this auction and its Content at your own risk. If you are dissatisfied with this auction, its Content or these conditions then your only remedy is to not bid for this particular item.

Save for liability which we cannot by law restrict or exclude, we shall have no liability to you or any third party for any direct, special, indirect, consequential or incidental damages, exemplary or lost profits, or any other damages of any kind whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, even where we have been advised of the possibility of the same. Applicable law may not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability of certain damages, so this limitation or exclusion may not apply to you in its entirety.

LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS

This auction is not directed at persons in a jurisdiction where for any reason the auction's publication or availability is prohibited and any person for whom such a prohibition applies must not access the site. We do not represent that this auction or its Content is appropriate for use or permitted by local laws in every jurisdiction. Those who access the auction do so on their own intiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws or regulations. Legal advice should be sought in cases of doubt.

VALIDITY OF PROVISIONS AND REMEDIES

Each provision of these conditions is severable. If any provision is or becomes invalid or contravenes applicable regulations then the remaining provisions will not be affected.

REMEDIES

Our rights and remedies under these conditions are cumulative and are not exclusive of any rights or remedies provided by law or contract.

WAIVER

No waiver by us of any breach of these conditions shall constitute a waiver of any other breach. No failure by us to exercise any remedy shall constitute a waiver of the right subsequently to exercise that or any other remedy.
